The ministry of a Lector is to proclaim God’s Word from the Sacred Scriptures at Mass.  Lectors are entrusted with proclaiming the First and Second Readings, the General Intercessions (Petitions), and announcements during the celebration of Mass.  Lectors should have good communication skills and must be a Catholic in good standing.  Those who are interested in becoming a Lector should contact the coordinator at their home church.
