Good Friday (Holy Friday) is April 15th.  It is the day on which Catholics commemorate the Passion and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The mood and tone of this liturgy is solemn.  We begin in silence and end in silence.  The solemn, muted atmosphere is preserved until the Easter Vigil.
